VI Security Audit
VI Security Audit assesses the security of your co-located or dedicated server and reports system vulnerabilities that server administrators can use to make any necessary security adjustments. VI Security Audit will detect known security flaws or bugs in operating systems and hardware, determine if the systems are susceptible to known attacks and exploits, and search for system vulnerabilities such as settings contrary to established security policies.
Almost every computer operating system is vulnerable to security attacks. The costs of repairing a hacked machine can be high, the costs of losing your website and customer data as a result will be even higher.
Making sense of server security
An analysis of your Internet related threats will be prepared and delivered by the security expert who performs the analysis. VI Security Audit includes; the raw data from the audit, an administrative report highlighting the impact of any given vulnerability, and the suggested methods/actions required to mitigate any risks.
VI Security Audit involves network mapping, host identification, information gathering, service inspection, network scanning, protocol probing, host fingerprinting, and vulnerability assessment. We use the top commercial security tools combined with various open source and private utilities to rigorously analyse your server. We scan for known and unknown (non-disclosed) bugs and detail them with a full technical report listing:

Clients already covered by Virtual Internet’s Advanced Support Contract (ASLA) can simply action the recommendations highlighted in the Audit as one or more of their allocated support calls.
Those without the ASLA can purchase hourly Advanced Support On-Request. Our engineers will undertake the work necessary to fill the gaps in the servers’ security. Whatever option you choose, the VI Security Audit followed with our first class Advanced Support services will give you the peace of mind you need.
